TEMPEST debuted last March 2, 2022 with their debut mini album called It's ME, It's WE. The album has a refreshing and strong vibe.The album consist of two version (It's ME and It's WE, there is also a digipack for this mini album. It consists of five songs with Bad News as the title track of the album itself. Members LEW and Hwarang have participated writing their lyrics and are credited in the album where LEW took part on four of the songs, which is also the same for Hwarang.

BAD NEWS - The title track, Bad News is about introducing TEMPEST as a group to the world, like a news. It also tells that TEMPEST has appear in the kpop arena. TEMPEST came back after 5 months since the released of their debut mini album. TEMPEST 2nd mini album, Shining Up which was released on August 29th, 2022 has two version that are called Sun and Moon. As TEMPEST had mentioned, this album story is connected to their debut album, It's Me, It's We.Shining Up consists of 4 new songs that shows love and hope that bloomed in summer, contains the endlessly sparkling energy and sensibility of youth under the theme of 'light' that does not change over time. Hwarang also participated in song writing for their title track as well as one b-side of the albums.

YOUNG AND WILD - As Young and Wild is the first and most likely like an introduction for the second mini album, this song best describes TEMPEST a lot as the members have mentioned (Show Champion Essay, 032223), it's a song that shows who they are: Positivity, Youthful, Charismatic, Refreshing and Sophisticated. Young and Wild gives off courage, hope and energy which TEMPEST mostly show throughout their career.CAN'T STOP SHINING - The title track of the 2nd mini album, It is a song about boys that just set foot in the world, walking toward the light. A song that is refreshing and gave off the summer vibes for everyone to sing along. During the showcase, it is said it's a song about TEMPEST's journey as they run towards iEs. According to LEW, Only One Day is the best song to listen to before going to bed!START UP - This is the last bside of the 2nd mini album which shows an explosive yet charismatic side of TEMPEST that also have the attractive groove that people look for. The song lyrics make you feel like that can boost your confidence up and at the same time dance to it.

After 3 months since Shining Up, TEMPEST came back on November 22, 2022 for their third mini album called ON and ON. This time around they came back with four new songs in which reveals the ambition to not settle for the present and soar towards the dream, captures Tempest's strong will to move forward without rest into the new world that 'we' have created together. It tells the story of Tempest's desire to go unstoppably into the wider world, singing about the existence of "us" who are courage and salvation for each other.LEW and Hwarang, once again showcased their musicality for participating in song writing in the album in which LEW participated in the title track along with one bside and Hwarang participated in three songs including the title track as well.

TASTE THE FEELING - The first track of the album which is also a bside that is promoted along with Dragon during music shows. Taste the Feeling stands out for its boyish charm in a bright atmosphere that looks like it's enjoying a party.DRAGON - The title track of the 3rd mini album, Dragon, is about a dragon soaring high like a dream. It is a hybrid trap that has a powerful sound. As Hyeongseop mentioned in the showcase (112222), it contains TEMPEST desire to soar high.LOVING NUMBER - Continuing their mini albums with songs dedicated for iEs, Loving Number is the next fan song which as TEMPEST said is a gift they want to give to their fans. During the showcase, the lyrics was said to be a witty expression of a secret language between two people in love.RAISE ME UP - This is the last bside of the 3rd mini album which tells the story of how you soared towards your dreams. Fun fact! This is also the only song as of the moment that has its remix which was posted back during December 2022 for Christmas.

After five months since On and On era, TEMPEST came back with their 4th mini album and it marks the beginning of the Storm Series inn which Tempest sets 'Storm' as 'the image of youth who perseveres in the face of turbulent trials'. The members' determination to "calm the trials and anxieties that lie ahead of us in our own way" is combined with the youthful energy that makes it through the storm without any hesitation, breaking the silence of the night before the storm.LEW and Hwarang once again show their talent and genius mind for song writing after being credited to all four songs of the album.

EYE OF THE STORM - The first track of the album, Eye of the Storm shows and describes TEMPEST. The song is impressive with lyrics about enjoying relaxation in the midst of a storm.DANGEROUS - The title track of the 4th mini album, Dangerous, contains TEMPEST's aspiration to become a storm that will sweep through the silent god and become a dangerous entity that turns the stage upside down in an instant, and the identity of this "Storm Eve".FREAK SHOW - The third track of the album conveys a message of support for tired modern people. TEMPEST shows enjoying and overflowing energy when it comes to performing Freak Show where they showcased good facial expressions and their charismatic outstanding side.I'll Be There - It is a fan song of the fourth mini album that shows a message of TEMPEST towards their fans. From the title of the song, I'll be therE, both the first and the last letter of the song capitalized the letter I and E that means iE which is the name of the fans.
